One AC. More than one place to sense presence.

A guest can leave the bedroom without leaving the space. Associated Room Sensors extend radar presence into relevant zones, so the Controller considers more than its own position before treating the space as vacant.

Vacancy automation

Give absence time.
Then act.

Choose how long vacancy must continue before StayEco acts. Use schedules and priorities to select the configured mode, with up to three qualified actions at increasing points in the same vacancy episode.

When guests return

Bring back the cooling StayEco changed.

When presence returns, StayEco can restore cooling it previously modified or paused. Pending vacancy actions stop, and the return path refers to cooling already managed by StayEco.

Guests keep using their normal AC remote.

Local by design

The Internet can drop. Local vacancy automation can continue.

Approved commands, relevant settings and vacancy logic stay local. The Controller can use its radar and associated Room Sensor presence to continue configured vacancy automation without Internet access.

More context, more possibilities

Connect room conditions and the next arrival.

Add temperature-driven actions with StayControl or prepare cooling around an approaching arrival using supported reservation data. Ordinary StayEco vacancy automation works without either connection.

Compatible with most IR-controlled air conditioners, subject to learning and qualification during setup.

Start with the indoor AC model and the remote information. Learn the relevant commands, test their effect and qualify the actions before automatic use.

A practical installation

Place it for presence.
Position it for control.

StayEco's battery-powered devices use IR control, so normal installations with compatible IR-controlled air conditioning require no electrical work. Placement still matters for sensing, the IR path and the zones you want to include.

Before you choose

A few practical questions.

Presence, compatibility, guest control and day-to-day operation.

Discuss your setup
How does StayEco use presence from different rooms?

The StayEco Controller uses its own radar presence sensing and associated radar-only Room Sensors in relevant zones. Presence in an associated zone prevents the space from being treated as vacant. Room Sensors extend presence coverage; they do not control another AC themselves. Placement and suitable presence information matter.

Can I choose how long StayEco waits before acting?

Yes. Absence delays can be configured from 1 to 1440 minutes, with up to three staged actions. Each action time is measured from the start of the same continuous vacancy episode, not from the previous action. Pending vacancy actions stop when presence returns.

What are Normal, Night and Pet modes?

They let you configure different behavior for day-to-day use, overnight periods and stays with pets. Schedules and priorities select the applicable mode, and monitoring-only configuration is available. These are operating profiles, not guarantees of sleeping-person detection, pet identification or pet safety.

What happens when the guest returns?

Pending vacancy actions stop. StayEco can restore cooling that it previously modified or paused, based on what StayEco itself previously changed. It does not promise to restore an unseen setting chosen through another remote, app or panel.

Does StayEco work without Internet access?

Local vacancy automation can continue using stored approved commands, relevant settings, the Controller's radar and associated Room Sensor presence. Remote monitoring, remote configuration and fresh connected inputs require connectivity. The normal AC remote remains usable.

Can guests still use the remote and choose their temperature?

Yes. Guests retain normal use of the AC remote, including during an Internet outage. StayEco does not lock the remote or prevent a guest from choosing a temperature such as 18°C. Configured automation is separate from the guest's manual controls.

Does StayEco know whether the AC is actually on or off?

No. StayEco records its decisions and issued IR actions, but does not receive authoritative physical AC-state feedback or continuously observe every change through another remote, app or panel. A command issued is not confirmation that the AC received it or changed state.

Will StayEco work with my air conditioner?

Compatible with most IR-controlled air conditioners, subject to learning and qualification during setup. The indoor AC model and remote information help assess the commands available. Universal remotes are not supported, and compatibility cannot be confirmed from the brand alone. Discuss AC compatibility

Do I need StayControl to use StayEco?

No. Ordinary StayEco vacancy automation uses its own radar presence and associated Room Sensors where needed. StayControl is an optional connection that supplies temperature readings for configured temperature-driven actions. StayControl senses; StayEco applies the qualified IR action. Explore StayControl

Do I need a PMS integration?

No. Ordinary vacancy automation does not require a reservation or PMS connection. Supported PMS integrations add reservation-aware behavior, including configured pre-arrival cooling. Available data and actions depend on the provider and setup. Explore integrations

Is electrical work required?

Not for normal installations with compatible IR-controlled air conditioning. StayEco devices are battery powered and control the AC through IR. Position the Controller for presence sensing and the IR path, add Room Sensors where needed, then learn and qualify commands during setup.

How is StayEco priced?

StayEco is a one-time hardware purchase, with no subscription or recurrent device fee. The Controller and Room Sensor quantities depend on the AC units and the layout. Discuss compatibility and deployment requirements with our team, or visit pricing for the commercial model. See pricing
